Meals &
Dietary Services
Good nutrition is essential for all our
patients. If you require a special diet and would like to speak with a
Registered Dietitian, please call 203-573-6000, ext.# 5541.Menus are distributed on your
breakfast tray. You will have the opportunity to choose your meals,
Meals are delivered between the following hours:
- Breakfast -- 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.
- Lunch -- 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Dinner -- 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Telephone
Patients may receive outside
telephone calls from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Cell phones are permissible.
However, they may not be used within three feet of operating equipment.
Television & Radio
The in-room television sets are
equipped with more than 22 broadcast channels. There also is radio reception.
Deaf & Hearing Impaired Services If you are deaf or hearing impaired, the Hospital offers services
that can assist you during your hospital stay. Interpreters are available 24
hours a day. Teletypewriters (TTY), amplified telephones and personal
listening devices are also available. If you have a need for one or more of
these services, please let your Hospital caregivers know, or call the Program
Administrator at 203-573-7250.
Deliveries The Volunteer Office delivers mail to patients Monday through Friday.
Volunteers and the local florists share flower delivery. If you have any
questions regarding mail, please call 203-573-7342.
